Students are currently working on a short research project called “Be the Change”. Using the CNN Heroes website, students will be choosing to study an individual who has impacted our world in a positive way, a person who saw a problem and decided to make a positive change to help.
On May 23-25th, students will present their findings to the class using a “glog” online poster as a presentation tool. Students will be formally evaluated by the teacher, but students will be voting on the best presentation in the entire 7th grade. Last year, our best presentation turned into a fundraiser, with all proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society.
